P. S. My idea was to put the thatⒶemendation French Jumping Frog into a book, in case you were done with it. Didn’t want to take it away until you were done with it, though.
So far as is known, Clemens never wrote the article Bentley had evidently requested specifically for Temple Bar.
Clemens, Olivia, Susy, and Nellie (the nursemaid), accompanied by Clara Spaulding and her mother, embarked for New York on the Batavia on Tuesday, 21 October.
