My Dear K—I may want a clay medallion of Cable & myself made from a photograph by Sarony. Drop a line to Maj. J. B. Pond, Everett House, New York City & ask him if you had better run up here & get his ideas as to size, style, &c. I talked some with him. He is my agent. He is out of town but returns soon in a day or two.

  in a day . . . S L C ● The final words, valediction, and signature are on the verso of this card from the Hotel Brunswick. The printed matter on the verso features an illustration of the hotel followed by the address: “hotel brunswick | fifth avenue, new york. | mitchell & kinzler.”
